A Life Long Love of Bears and Painting

I have always loved to draw and paint since a very young child. I longed to go to Art School but I was born in an era where Art was considered to be too precarious and not a 'proper job' so I was discouraged and instead opted to become a teacher but with Art and English as my main subjects.

I dipped in and out of teaching all my working life but could never really settle. Eventually, after a varied career, I eventually became A SENCo at a Primary School but that feeling of being a square peg, in a round hole never left me.

Throughout all this time I continued to draw and paint using various mediums and one subject ruled supreme.
